Bill Moyers is unafraid to get "in the face"
of those who are trying to kill our democracy-
and our freedoms. George Orwell would love
his spiritual beauty and plain talk, no doublespeak
here, just truth. Lovely truth.

Alan Kobrin -
Bill Moyers is a consummate public educator on topics deep, wide and often complex.
He has the requisite knowledge and credentials to be perhaps the best Sec. of Education ever. Besides his firsthand knowledge of our political and media systems, he has clearly demonstrated his ability to bring an enlightened progressive message to millions of people with both clarity and depth. His regard for the people as stewards of democracy greatly inform his ablilty as an educator and leader. added link:

As a longtime reader and viewer of Bill Moyers work, I could think of noone better than Bill Moyers for secretary of education. A man of faith and great intellect. Bill is one of the most sensible voices in our national debate. He is a true patriot. He brings honor and dignity to the profession of journalism. A profession I might add that is truly in decline. Bill is a patriot and would carry his position with honor.
